Base Argentina Marambio is located in the Island of Seymour, approximately to 1,6 km to the NE of the Island of Cerro Nevado on the South margin of the gulfs Erebus and Terror in the Sea of Weddell. This base is located in a plateau of 14 km in length and 8 km wide, to 200 meters above sea level, and a distance of 3600 km from Buenos Aires and 2800 km from the South Polo.
